Lullaby Baxter

Lullaby Baxter (born Angelina Iapaolo in Scarborough, Ontario,〔Lisa Wilton, ("Quick rise for Lullaby Baxter" ), Jam!, July 22, 2000; retrieved November 20, 2012.〕 1970) is a Canadian jazz singer. Her first album, ''Capable Egg'', was released in 2000 by Atlantic Records, and her 2006 album ''Garden Cities of To-morrow'' was released by Boompa Records.
''The Village Voice'' has called her "cerebrally seductive" and compared her to Peggy Lee,〔Richard Gehr, ("GooGoo Ga Joob" ), ''the Village Voice'', April 18, 2000; retrieved November 20, 2012.〕 while Pitchfork Media has compared her to Ella Fitzgerald.〔Marc Hogan, ("Lullaby Baxter: Garden Cities of To-morrow" ), Pitchfork Media, August 29, 2006; retrieved November 20, 2012.〕
She is the sister-in-law of jazz musician Steve Kirby.
